Three sheep, two clouds, a moon at the center. The kind of mobile that looks like it's mid-drift across the nursery ceiling.
This is a handmade boucle baby mobile — three sheep, two clouds and a crescent moon, each piece filled with hollowfiber and covered in soft bouclé fabric. Wool balls and natural wooden beads hang between the strings. The whole composition turns slowly above the crib, barely moving. Available in white, beige, pink or grey — beige shown here is our most popular.
What is this boucle sheep and cloud mobile made from?
Each sheep, cloud and the moon are soft, three-dimensional shapes — handmade, filled with hollowfiber, and covered in bouclé fabric. Bouclé has a looped, textured weave that gives every piece its characteristic plush surface — soft to the touch, warm to the eye. The sheep have small felt ears and embroidered faces, with little beige felt legs peeking out underneath. The moon is a crescent that hangs in the center, with two clouds and three sheep arranged around it at different heights. Wool balls and natural wooden beads sit along the strings, adding texture and a warm material contrast to the composition. The mobile comes in four colorways — white, beige, pink and grey — so you can match it to your nursery palette.

How do you hang the sheep, moon and cloud mobile?
The mobile hangs from a loop at the top of the wooden ring — hook it onto a crib arm or ceiling hook. A crib arm is not included but is available separately in our shop. Once hung, the moon settles at the center with the clouds and sheep distributed naturally around it. Hang at a height your baby can see but not reach — typically 30–40 cm above the mattress surface when the baby is lying down. This mobile is for decoration only, not a toy. Remove from above the crib once your baby can push up on their hands and knees.
Is this sheep and cloud mobile good for a neutral nursery?
This boucle sheep mobile works in any neutral, farmhouse or pastel-themed nursery. Beige is our best-selling colorway — it pairs naturally with linen, wood and warm neutrals. White keeps things minimal and Scandinavian. Pink and grey lean softer or more gender-neutral depending on your palette. A popular choice as a baby mobile with sheep for parents who want a touch of character without anything too bold. Makes a thoughtful baby shower gift for anyone building a cozy, textured nursery.

Why choose a boucle baby mobile for a nursery?
Bouclé fabric gives each sheep, cloud and moon its soft, looped texture — available in white, beige, pink or grey. Wool balls and natural wooden beads complete the composition. Made by hand, one mobile at a time.
Soft & Safe
We use soft bouclé fabric with hypoallergenic holofiber filling — gentle in the nursery environment. No harsh dyes, no rough edges. Just soft, textured shapes that hang quietly above the crib.
Design That Lasts
Bouclé keeps its texture and shape beautifully over time. Our neutral tones — white, cream, beige, and warm terracotta — suit minimalist, boho, and Scandinavian nurseries.
How do you hang a plush baby mobile?
Hang the mobile from a standard ceiling hook, centered above the crib. The mobile comes with a wooden ring base ready to hang; the ceiling hook is not included. Position it high enough that baby cannot reach any of the elements, even when standing in the crib. A crib arm attachment is available separately if you'd like to mount the mobile directly to the crib rail rather than the ceiling — is available for separate purchase — buy crib arm.
When should you take down a baby mobile?
Take the mobile down once your baby begins to push up on hands and knees — typically around 5 months. At that stage, baby can reach up and pull on hanging elements. Our mobiles are nursery décor, not toys. They're designed to hang out of reach at all times.
How do you clean a boucle baby mobile?
Use a sticky lint roller — the same one you'd use for clothing. Do not wash, wet, or apply any cleaning products to the soft elements. Colors may vary slightly from photos due to screen settings — that's normal. Small differences between individual pieces are a natural part of the handmade process.
