Position it high enough that baby cannot reach any of the elements, even when standing in the crib. Take the mobile down once your baby begins to push up on hands and knees — typically around 5 months. At that stage, baby can reach up and pull on hanging elements. Our mobiles are nursery décor, not toys. They're designed to hang out of reach at all times.
